Fear Not

Let us ponder Luke 1:30 today which says, And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. The angel who is speaking is Gabriel. He is only one of two angels named in the Bible.They are called Arc Angels, because they are in charge of all angels. I see there is an admonition spoken to her. (fear not) The phrase means stop being afraid. I am told the phrase is mentioned 365 times in the Bible, one time for everyday in the year. The reason for her not to be afraid, is because she has found favour with God. The phrase found favour means the free, absolute loveingkindness of God. Let us be assured we need not be afraid because we to are a highly graced people.
