Hope’s Wonder

Let us this day ponder several  verses that tell of the wonder of hope. In I Cor.  13:13 we find a wonderful perception when Paul says,” And now abideth faith, hope,and love… This is our perception today, but one day faith will give way to sight, hopewill turn to reality and love will ever remain.  In Colossians 1:27 I find a wonderful position when Paul says ” Christ in you the hopeof glory”. All of our hope comes from HIM who lives in our heart. In I Thess. 4:13 I find a wonderful practice when Paul tells us in a time of death,”that ye sorrow not , even as others who have no hope“. He did not say there would no sorrow, just no hopeless sorrow. In I Thess. 5:8 I find  a wonderful power in Paul’s words of ” and for a helmet, the hope of salvation” The head is where our mind is. Let the mind of Christ be in us, it is a mind of great hope. I stand amazed this morning in HOPE!
