The Spirit’s Entreating For Our Infirmities

Let us muse today from Romans 8:26 on our road to possessing our position. It is here we find the Spirit’s entreating for our infirmities. Notice in 26a the infirmity of our strength. The word infirmity means the totally inability to do anything to change the world around us. Paul said he didn’t know how to pray are what to pray for, but the Spirit helpeth our infirmities. In verse 26b we find the infirmity of the Spirit. When we can’t help our self the Spirit of God begins to make groanings within us that helpeth our infirmities. The word helpeth means to carry or bear up and over. We must learn in this hour to move from praying to Him, to Him praying through us. Great praying is not seen in it’s length or volume, but it must have all heart with no mouth.
