He Noted God’s Supplying Riches
We are musing these days on the thanksgiving principle. Paul is sharing a thankful conclusion. In verse 19 he concludes his thoughts of a notable salutation on the facts of God’s supply and riches. Philppians 4:13 has been claimed by many as their hope that God will take care of them. This verse is not for all. It is only for givers and not tithers. If you are locked in to giving the tenth when God blesses you he will use your measurement to give it back. I am sure glad that God did not give 10 percent of the blood of Jesus. The verse says, ‘my God’. It denotes a personal possession. I am His but He is also mine. The verse says ‘shall supply’. It is not will, could, or may but a definite ‘He shall supply’. The verse says he will supply ‘all our needs’. If their is a need, God has promised to meet it for His giving people. He often sends strawberry shortcake in the midst of supplying our needs. My what a giving God He is.
