Let us muse today from Philippians 4:21-22. We are almost to the conclusion of this book. Pray for me, that God will lead me to our next assignment for meditation. In our text today in the section I call a notable salutation I find some notable soldier saints. Paul sends his regards from all the saints with him in prison to all the saints at Philippi. In verse 22 he sends a chief salute. The word chiefly means in particular or of the greatest importance. Paul says here is a group that send its regards that might be a shocker to you. The group was those of Caesar’s household or his royal guard.Paul was chained to them. In stead of  telling them bad news about his prison situation, he told them the good news of the gospel. Many of them had been born from above. Be careful in our response to an unwelcome situation many are watching. They may use our response as excuse to reject Christ.
