The Notable Saviour

Today we muse on our last thought from Philippians. We will look next at the parable of the sower. I look one more time at a notablesalutation in 4:20-23. In this section I see the notable Saviour. In 1:2 he began with grace, he is now ending with grace. He began with giving glory to the Lord Jesus Christ. he is ending by giving Him glory. He mentioned Christ 40 times and average of two to three times per verse. It is not a creed but Christ. It is not about precepts and principles, but a person. Christ captured Paul’s heart on the road to Damascus and He was still the theme of his life. This letter was written from a prison cell, seems like it was written from a king’s palace. We can only echo Paul’s final words and say Amen and Amen.
