The Wayside

Let us muse today from Matthew 13:4 and see the seed that was sown by the wayside. This area is the foot path through the growing area of a field. This would not be an area where folks would normally sow. Remember the master sower Jesus sowed in every place. This area had been made hard by the foot traffic through that area. This depicts a heart that has not been plowed soft by the Holy Ghost. This type person is deaf spiritually to the Word of God. Let us remember the master sower knows this area was hard and had no ears to hear, but he sowed the seed any way. We will meet many along the way who will reject our witness, throw away our tracts, and turn their eyes up at our testimony. Our only responsibiblity is to sow. It is God who germinates and causes the fruit to come forth.
