Good Ground Seen By Luke 2
Let us muse for our last meditation on the Parable of the Sower from Luke 8. I encourage you to go back and make a copy of all the meditations of the Parable of the Sower and muse on them from time to time. They are powerful. Today let us look at Luke 8:8,15. I find our Lord gives us a great reminder in verse 8 when He cried unto them ‘He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.’ The word ‘cried‘ means to address someone with a loud articulate noise. This statement can not be over stated. We cannot come to God unless He first gives us the spiritual ears of the heart to hear Him speak. I bless the day He gave me ears to hear Him. The good ground has ears to hear. Do you have ears to hear? Jesus tells us in Luke 8:15 that the good ground will produce an honest and good heart. The word honest means beautiful, valuable, and virtuous. The word good means well. This is a heart that only God can create within us. So we find the good ground will produce the fruit of a testimony outward to man. A honest and good heart with a testimony upward to God. By the way, what kind of ground are you?
