Enemies Bowing – Promise Given

Let us muse again today from Revelation 3:9-10 and the church at Philadelphia. As I told you before there was in this city a major population of Jews. This set the stage for great persecution of those who embraced Christ as the Messiah. Jesus called these Jews the synagogue of Satan. Our Lord said ‘I will cause them to come and worship before thy feet and recognize that it is you that I have loved.’ My, what power our God has over our enemieis this day. In verse 10 there is a promise given. He tells them that because they have been obedient He will keep them when a special hour of tribulation will come upon the whole world to try them. No doubt He speaks of Satan’s last bid to deceive before the return of Christ. What a blessing to know He will keep those who but trust and obey.
