Let us muse today from Revelation 3:11 and the church at Philadelphia. It is here He tells this church that He is coming. He has told us for centuries that He is coming. Let us not be weary, His coming is now closer than it has ever been. He says, ‘Behold, I come quickly.’ The word ‘behold’ implies that when He comes we should be looking for Him. The word ‘quickly’ tells us that way in which He will come. Paul said He will come like a thief in the night. Some thieves recently broke in a house near us. They were in, stole 2 wide screen TV’s and out in less than 6 minutes. That, my friend, is quickly. He tells us to hold fast to what we have. This speaks of our profession of testimony. Let us continue to walk faithfully with our Lord. Then He reminds us of our crown. He tells us ‘don’t let anything in this world rob you of what He will give you in the world to come’. Let us today keep on keeping on. He is coming and it may be today.
