“The” Birth Announcement

Let us muse this Christmas morning on John’s birth announcement of Jesus. In verse one John sees Jesus as the letters and there can be no communication without Him. In 1:3 John sees Jesus as the laborer and there can be no creation without Him. In 1:4 John sees Jesus as the life and there can be no continuance without Him. In 1:5-8 John sees Jesus as the light and there can be no clarity  without Him. In 1:11 John sees Jesus as the lowly and there can be no Calvary without Him. In 1:12-13 John sees Jesus as the liberty and there can be no conversion without Him. In 1:18 John sees Jesus as the likeness and there can be ne comparison without Him. This give a whole new meaning to the words “without Him I can do nothing”. I can say of Jesus He Lives, He Lives, no matter what men may say. I know He Lives, He Lives within my heart.
