God’s Nature Of Variableness

Let us muse today from James 1:17b and our Encounter With Theology on the road to blessings. We are told that there is no ‘variableness’ in God’s nature. Our word variableness means no transmutation of orbit or to change in form or substance. The sun and moon have no variableness. They shine as bright at night as they do in the day. The moon never becomes a quarter or half-moon but it is always full. The reason they change is because we change in our relationship to them. So it is with God. He never changes. He is the same yesterday, today, and forevermore. If we think He has changed it is simply because we have changed in our relationship to Him.
