God’s Nature Is Without Shadows

Let us muse from James 1:17 again today in our Encounter With Theology and God’s Nature in the words ‘He has no shadow of turning’. Shadows are the mark of half-light and half -dark. There is no darkness in Him at all. Let us remember that if we walk with Him we walk in the light. Our walk with Him will often lead us into the valley of the shadow of darkness. Shadows cannot hurt us but they may cause us to hurt ourselves. They often come in the form of depression, oppression, worry, and doubts. Keep walking with Him in the light and remember that Proverbs says, ‘that the path of the just shineth more and more unto a perfect day’. We are blessed to know the Father of Lights who is without variableness or shadow of turning.
