Let us muse today from James 1:21 and a proper Encounter with our Testimony on the road to God’s Blessings.  We are asked in this verse to lay aside Sin’s Depths. The phrase ‘lay aside’ has as it’s roots even the fragments. It was used of the fragments picked up after the Feeding Of The Five Thousand. We are told to ‘lay aside all naughtiness‘. The word means any prevalent sins. The least sin when left unattended can fester into a hideous sin. One of the old Puritans said, “And none, O Lord, have perfect rest, for none are wholly free from sin and they who fain would serve thee best are conscious most of wrong within.”
