Where Are We To Receive It

Let  us muse again today from James 1:21 and a proper Encounter With our Testimony on the road to God’s Blessings. We have been looking at Authentic Righteousness which involves ‘The Receiving Of Some Things’. Let us look today at ‘Where We Are To Receive The Word Of God’. James calls it ‘the engrafted Word of God’. The word ‘engrafted’ implies the sowing of something out of human sight. The Word must be sown in the heart. The Bible says, ‘Keep thy heart, for out of it flow the issues of life.’ It must be sown through the eye or the ear which are the gates into the heart. It is not the rules of morality that we engraft, but the righteous Words of Christ. It must be planted within in order to change without.
