The Cry Of Forgiveness

Let us muse today from Luke 23:34 and the demands of forgiveness. I want us to think upon this thought today, He couldn’t reach out but He could cry upward. This cry forgave the unforgivable. He said, Father forgive them. Imagine with me who the them are. They would include a host of people like us who are truly unforgivable. His cry forgot the unforgettable. One of the great steps of forgiveness is  to forget it. Oh the host of sins about us He had to remember no more, truly they were unforgettable. His cry from the cross fathom the unfathomable. His reach for us went beyond the bottom, for it is their the them of sinners lie. He did not come for the good, righteous, or upright, but only sinners, lost ones. He was nailed, He could not reach out so He cried upward.
