The Director Of Forgiveness
Let us muse today from Deuteronomy 32:39 where God says, ‘I wound that I may heal’. Have you been wounded by a friend, family member, employee, employer, or mate and it hurts so bad? If there is to be true forgiving and forgetting we must see that God is the one behind all wounds. He sends them with great purpose and accurate precision. If one does not embrace this truth, ‘God permits nothing, He ordains all things’, it will lead to bitterness and depression when wounded. God may not inflict the wound Himself but He is truly the director behind it. Let us not buy into the unbiblical idea that ‘God has a perfect will and a permissive will’. In Ephesians 1:11 Paul said, ‘He worketh all things after the counsel of His own will’. Will is in the singular and not the plural. He has only plan A and no plan B.
