A Calculating Declaration

Let us muse today from Matthew 18:23-27 and a Calculating Declaration about Forgiveness. It is here that a master, who has a servant who owes him ten thousand talents, which is about 25 million dollars, is called into judgment. This is a sum that with compounded interest would be impossible to repay. When he is confronted by the master he pleads mercy. The master has compassion on him and forgives him the whole debt. Is this not the same state we found ourselves in when lost? We had a sin debt that we could not pay but our Master forgave us all. Hallelujah, what a Savior.
