Paul’s Filling Desire

Let us muse again today from Colossians 1:9bandc where we find Paul’s Filling Desire. Paul craved for this church to be filled with all wisdom and spiritual understanding. These words have behind them the idea of the eyes of our understanding being enlightened. Increasing in the knowledge of God and growing in His grace and knowledge. To be filled with these requires a strong Word relationship. When there is a continual study of the Word there wil be an ever widening knowledge until we have the mind of Christ. This work began at salvation with an introduction by the Word into the family of God. It will continue with an increasing knowledge of the Word and will end with an intimacy with the Lord Jesus Christ the center of this Book.
