The Creator

Let us muse again from Colossians 1:15-18 where we find five titles for Christ. Today we find in verse 16 He is called ‘The Creator’. The Bible begins in Genesis 1:1 telling us that Elohim (God) created the heavens and the earth. Elohim is in the plural which indicates the Trinity. John tells us that all things were made by Him and without Him was not anything made. Paul tells us ‘if any man be in Christ he is a new creation’. Paul even goes deeper and tells us that everything in heaven and earth, visible and invisible, were created by Him. All of the areas of power, whether they be good or evil, were created by Him. If God made it you can rest assured that He is over it and it does nothing except at His command.
