The Mind Of Reconciliation

Let us muse today from Colossians 1:21 and ‘The Mind Of Reconciliation’. The great area of alienation is in the wicked mind of the lost. The area that tells most of our need for reconciliation is in our thinking. Satan always goes after our mind. How easy it is for our mind to remember a smutty story, impure word but fail miserably to memorize a passage of scripture. Oh, how sin destroys our lives through our minds. Years ago a great singer in the Roman choir was hired to be the face of Jesus in the great painting of The Lord’s Supper. Years later the artist Leonardo DeVinci needed a man for the face of Judas. He found a beggar with a deep sinful countenance who was perfect for the part. He found afterwards that they were the same man. My, how sin can quickly take its toll. I thank God that I can say with Paul, ‘Yet now hath He reconciled me’.
