A Declaring Perseverance

Let us muse today from the last part of Colossians 1:23 and A Declaring Perseverance. Paul mentions in this verse ‘the hope of the gospel’ and being ‘a minister of the gospel’. If you and I are to press on in this world of sorrow and darkness we must find our hope in the gospel. The word ‘hope’ means confident expectations. We must find our hope in the death, burial, resurrection, ascension, and soon coming of Christ. It is the only source of true hope. Paul said that he was a minister of the gospel. If we are to press on in the midst of our darkest hours it is a must that we share with others the gospel. Oh, by the way, have you declared the gospel story lately?
