A Building

Let us muse today from Colossians 2: 7b an another of Paul’s pictures of progress. We are told today of our need of being built up. The term is an architectural term that is in the present tense. It literally says we should always be, being, built up. When God saves us He places us in and on the foundation of Christ His Son. We are through the word of God to build in our bodies a temple for God to abide in. He says in John 15, if ye abide in me and I abide in you, ye shall ask what you will and it shall be done unto you. The word abide means to feel at home in. Are we building a temple within us that Christ feels at home in?
