Warnings Of Beware

Let us begin today to muse from Colossians 2:16-23. The phrase let no man, in verse 16, 18, an implied in verse 20, is a phrase of warning. There are several signs of warning in the physical world. There is the railroad crossings. The skull and cross bone on poison gives a great warning. The phrase let no man in verse 16 and 17 gives us a warning about legalism. Paul warns about keeping of religious holidays and watching what you eat and drink. These are all but shadows of Christ and fall short of the real thing. Remember  “the flesh is weak when it comes to doing spiritual things, but it is very strong when it comes to practicing religious rules and regulations”.( Wiersbe)
