A Setting Practice

Let us  muse today from Colossians 3:2 an our thoughts on heaven to go to heaven  in. If we are to have heaven on earth there must be a setting practice. Paul speaks of the thought, set your affections on things above. The word set means fix the eye  upon one position. David said, my heart is fixed on the Oh God, and I am trusting  in Thee. The word  affections is one’s feelings, emotions, desires, wishes, and wants. Paul says to set them all, on things above and not on the earth. If we set our affections on things around us we will do nothing but worry. If we set them on things above, we will do nothing but worship.
