Malice

Let us muse again today from Colossians 3:8 and another of the sins in good standing. These are the social sins that are overlooked in our preaching today. I bring before us the sin of malice. The word means to foster ill will toward another. It has the idea of carrying a grudge and it just keeps growing. Shimei nursed a grudge against David and Ziba against Mephiboseth. It costs both of them greatly. Whenever we maintain a grudge against another be assured when it  shows itself it will humiliate you and not them. Remember they have never offended you as much as you have offended Christ.
