The New Man

Let us muse today from Colossians 3:10 where Paul deals with the new man. If you have been saved you have once and for all put on the new man who is likened unto the image of Christ. The maintaining and bringing to light of the new man is done through the process of being renewed in the knowledge of Christ. As we get into the word, it activates the new man to conquer the old man and we walk in newness of the Christ life. We were formed in the image of God but because of the fall we are deformed by sin. When Christ saved us He put within us the new man and transformed us into His likeness. The transformation is made obvious to the world through the renewing of our mind by filling our hearts and minds with the word of God.
