Robes Of Long-suffering

Let us muse again today from Colossians 3:12 and all dressed up with some where to go. If one has put on the new man of Christ, he will have adorned himself with the robe of long-suffering. The word is the opposite of a short-tempered person. A short-tempered person acts impulsively and has no self-control. A long tempered person is not easily provoked and bothered by people or circumstance. We should get angry at sin and the devil,  but it is a sin to get angry quickly at people and circumstances. Let us in the new man reckon ourselves dead to the sin of being short-tempered.
