Scripture Output And Devotion

Let us muse today from Colossians 3:16b and the Scripture output and devotion of God’s people. When we constantly take the word in, it will only be natural that we give it out. Paul speaks of two methods of giving it out. One method will be that of admonition seen in the phrase, teaching and admonishing one another in Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs. We will take the word and use it in love to comfort and confront others. The other method of output will be in adoration. We will have a song even if we cannot sing. We will sing upward to God and outward to others because our hearts are full of Grace, because they are full of the Word.
