Practice In Jesus Name

Let us muse again today from Colossians 3:17 where Paul deals with the practical element of how we live out our Christian life. Paul first brings up the guide line of our practice in the phrase, “and whatsoever you do in Word and the deed”. The word used here tells of our speech or what we say. David said let the words of my mouth be acceptable in thy sight O Lord. The word deed speaks of our actions or doings. We must strike a balance between what we say and what we do. Sad to say, most of us talk more than we do. Let us not be labeled by the world that our Christianity is just all talk.
