Fit Before The Lord

Let us muse today from Colossians 3:18b and the thought of our order of husbands and wives should be fit before the Lord. The word fit means that which is pleasing are desirous in God’s sight. Our marital relationship cannot be dictated by our feelings, the women’s liberation movement, or what is politically correct in Washington. Let our relationship be dictated by the Genesis account of creation. We get an insight into this relationship from Genesis 3:16 were Moses says the wife will have a desire over her husband. The word desire means to manipulate. His desire will be to rule over her. The word rule means to be a dictator over. When two are living under the same roof and they are by fallen nature a manipulator and the other is a dictator,if they are not full of the Spirit of God and the Word of God, there will be hell on the earth in this home.
