Servants Obey

Let us muse today from Colossians 3:22a and the phrase servants obey in all things your masters. Although we do not practice slavery in our nation, these principles can certainly be applied to employers and employees relationship. We as the employee should obey our employer in everything that he asked us to do, unless he was to asked us to do that which contradicts the express principles of the Word of God. Let us be careful when we stand against our employer that it is a biblical principle and not a religious preference that we have been asked to violate. There have been folks who have lost good jobs over their preference and there was no clear scriptural standard to back up their position.
