Tychius’ Titles

Let us muse today from Colossians 4:7 and Tychius’ titles. The first one that Paul calls him by is beloved brother. This is a very intimate terms of spiritual kinship. The word brother has the meaning of being of the same womb. This is not the same earthly womb of a mother’s birth, but the same spiritual womb of being born from above by the same heavenly Father. The word beloved means greatly loved, loved one. This is a very endearing title. We very seldom have a beloved brother or sister come through our life. I have but one in my life a preacher friend, my best friend, whom I would call a beloved brother.
