Title Fellow Servant

Let us muse today from Colossians 4:7 and  another of Tychius’ titles. This is the last one Paul uses when he says of Tychius that he was a fellow servant. The phrase means a fellow prisoner. I do not think that Paul refers to him as being in prison with him but the fact that he was a prisoner to Christ. He helped Paul on a number of occasions to do the most important things of the ministry. Paul had a great trust in this man. He helped Paul during his second imprisonment which led to Paul’s execution. Paul appreciated his death dairying loyalty so much he sent him to Ephesus out of harms way. May the Lord raise up people of God in this hour to hold up the hands of the man of God in the front-line trenches of the battle.
