Epaphras The Fervent Man

Let us muse today from Colossians 4:12-13. where Paul tells us of Epaphras the fervent man. Paul tells us that he is a fervent worker. The word means one who does it with all their might. Paul tells us that he is a fervent servant and one who prays fervently. His prayers for the church at Colossae was that they would be steadfast and realize they are complete in Christ and all the will of God. Paul tells the church that he has a great zeal for not only your well-being, but for other bodies of believers in the same area. Lord, raise up some Epaphras’ down at the church house who will just be in the shadows fervently praying and working for the Lord.
