Luke The Famous Man

Let us muse today from Colossians 4:14a and Paul’s mention of Luke the famous man. Luke was known for many things. One was that he was a physician and stayed close by Paul who was probably continually in need of a doctor between stoning and his thorn in the flesh. He also wrote the Gospel of Luke and the Book of Acts. He stayed with Paul until his final moments. In his writings he mentioned 26 different Bible characters and 53 different places the Gospel was carried. Lord, raise up some professional people down at the church house that would use their profession to further the kingdom of Christ.
