God Of Grace
Let us muse today from Hosea 1:3-9 and the name of Hosea’s children. We see through these names that God is a God of grace. His first child was named Jeezreel which means God scatters. Hosea’s second child a daughter was named Loruhamah which means not loved. The third child Loamni means not my people You may asked where do you see the grace of God in these titles? In the Old Testament Hosea is the word for Jesus of the New Testament. Hosea means one who opens wide, sets free, and delivers. When our Hosea, Jesus came to us He will changed us from a scattered people to God’s gathered people. He changes us from not loved to the beloved ones and not my people to the blessed people of God. No wonder we find grace to be so amazing. We find in verse seven that this grace is shown to us by the mercy of God. Mercy is God withholding from us what we deserve. I’m glad for my Hosea Jesus Christ who has caused me to say, what a wonderful change in my heart has been wroth since Jesus came into my heart.
