I Will Take Away

Let us muse today from Hosea 2:16-17  and a third I will statement from our Lord’s last will and testament. The statement is I will take away. Baalim in those days was a great form of idolatry. Oh how we as the people of God put so many things before our God and they become a point of worship, because of the importance we place on them. Balli means master. The things we put before our God causes them to be the master over us. In verse 17 God takes her bent and desire for the things of this world away. He says she will call me now Ishii which means my husband. Lord come today and take my bent and love for this world away and replace it with a strong love for only you my husband to be.
