I Will Betroth

Let us  muse today from Hosea 2:18-20 and a fourth I will statement from our  Lord’s last will and statement. The statement is I will betrothed. The word betrothed means to be engaged to one for marriage. I thought it is interesting that the word betrothed is mentioned three  times. This is the number for the triune God head,  the three in one. Our marriage will be to the one who is manifested in three persons. The bases of this marriage will be a covenant that was made before time and will be unending. The fruits of this relationship will be peace, righteousness, judgment, loving kindness, mercy, and faith fullness. It will be through this fruit that God will manifest His grace. Paul tells us in Ephesians in the ages to come, which means the turning of the pages of an endless book, He will show the exceeding riches of his grace. Through all this Hosea says in verse 20 we shall know the Lord.
