The Present State

Let us muse today from Hosea 3:4 and the present state of Israel. We are told she will dwell many days without a king. There has been only three kings over United Israel. They were Saul, David, and Solomon. They have had no king since. Israel said at Jesus death we will not have this man rule over us, for we have no king but Caesar. They have no active priesthood or sacrifice that stands out since the days that God rent the veil in two. What does Israel have? They have nothing but the empty shell of religion to hope to sustain them for all eternity. We know as a Bible fact that the shell of religion will not sustain us through death. I am glad I can say, on Christ the solid rock I stand all other ground is sinking sand.
