Sin’s Committeed

Let us muse today from Hosea 4:2-5 and as sin’s committed, when God calls court in session. He begins here to deal with the sins committed by Israel. It is a rather lengthy list. They are swearing, lying, killing, stealing, and adultery. He sets each off with the word and which gives the focus that each one is enough by itself. It sounds like reading an American newspaper. Then we see the word therefore twice in verse three and five. This is the word of cause and effect or sowing and reaping. Because of their sin’s they will mourn and live like animals and according to verse five they will fall from the mother to the preacher in a night. They will go to bed one night with all his well and wake up the next morning and all is gone. What a warning Hosea gives to us all to be sure we are rightly related to our Hosea the Lord Jesus Christ.
