The Judge’s Ruling
Let us muse today from Hosea 5:1-7 and the Judge’s ruling. The chapter begins hear ye and hearken. These are similar words used by Jesus when He said he that hath ears let him hear. The Lord tells them in verse four that it is not they cannot hear but they will not hear. Here again is the sin of stubbornness magnified. In verse six God says you will approach me with your sacrifices and seek me, but you will not find me for I will have with drawn myself. This would be the greatest judgment possible that God could place on us is to with draw himself from us. Let us quickly bow the knee to the lease situation our God confronts us with, less we can not find Him even after a through search.
