Sowing And Reaping Image

Let us muse today from Hosea 8:7 and the sowing and reaping  image. We very seldom take notice of our sowing as an individual, family, church, or a nation. Many of us never connect the dots of what we sow we shall reap. Because Israel has sinned politically and spiritually the Lord says they will reap the whirlwind. They are reaping will consist of no fruits in the crop and if there is fruit the enemy will devour it before they get a chance to pick it. Let’s be careful of what we sow in our lives. We will reap what we sow, more than we sow, and later that we sowed. Sin will take you further than you want to go, make you stay longer than you want to stay, and pay more than you want to pay.
