Restoring Place

Let us mused today from Hosea 14:4 and a restoring place. The Lord promised us when we return He will heal our backsliding. The word heal speaks of spiritual healing. When a person has an infection an it is left untreated it will soon cause weakness and then collapse. When sin is not dealt with it will cause a spiritual infection and grows quietly bringing in a loss of spiritual appetite, which creates weakness and finally total spiritual collapse. I think the Lord we can draw nigh to Him and He will draw nigh to us. Peter’s fall begins in the garden with sleeping when he should have been praying. He was fighting when he should have been trusting and finally ended in total denial of our Lord Jesus Christ.
