With Thine Own Self

Let us muse again today from John 17:5 and the high priestly prayer. I am interested today in our Lord’s words when He prayed with thine own self. He is returning to the thoughts of John 1:18 where we are told that He was the only begotten Son which was in the bosom of the Father. We are told that when Lazarus’ died he was taken into Abraham’s bosom. We that know Him through the gift of eternal life have the confidence that when our journey is ended and we close our eyes in death we will awake in the bosom of the Father to be one with Them.
