Revelation And Reception

Let us muse again today from John 17:8 and the High Priestly prayer. May we deal today with revelation and reception. In verse 6-7 our Lord has dealt with the revelation of salvation. In our text today He prays that those to whom He has revealed Himself to in salvation, He sees that they have received His word. The word receive means to choose or prefer for oneself above all others. Oh for a special, personal word from the Lord,may we prefer it above all else.
