How Can I Be In And Not Of The World?

Let us muse again today from John 17:17 and the high priestly prayer. In our text for today our Lord prays from the subject of how can I be in the world but not of the world? He says I must sanctify myself through truth and then says the only truth is My Word. The word sanctify means to set apart or to make a difference in. We can only set ourselves apart as being different from the world by having a strong relationship with our Bible.
