A Song From The Vineyard

Let us muse again today from Isaiah 5:1 and the theme of Isaiah’s Christ. We notice in our text that this is a song from the vineyard to the vineyard owner. In the songs she calls Him her Well Beloved. The title means a much-loved one. This is a song of the bride to a bridegroom. My interest is the timing of this song. It is being sung during the sifting days. When our Lord begins to sift His people with the winds of adversity may those who are possessors show the great  difference between them and mere professors by having a song unto our Lord. It will take much grace to sing to the One you know has caused your pain but His true people will nonetheless have a song to sing.
