Manifold Fetters

Let us muse again today from Isaiah 53:3-5 and the theme of Isaiah’s Christ. I want to look today at the manifold fetters our Lord willingly bound Himself with just for me. I see in our text He was despised and rejected. These words imply to be called a vile person, to avoid, and leave alone. Why was He rejected even by His own Father? He was rejected by the Father that I might be accepted by Him.
