Born Of The Word

Let us muse today from first Peter 1:23-25 and the Gospel according to the new birth. I see in verse 23 and that we or born-again not by a corruptible seed. The word corruptible means to decay, perish, or wither away. We are not born from above with a corruptible seed but with an incorruptible which is the word of God. This seed our text tells us will not pass away. As with the virgin birth in Mary, when I was born from above the Father placed within me the incorruptible seed of the word of God, the Holy Ghost brooded over it, quicken it, and birth with in me the Son of God.
